  • What happens if I break a tooth?

    A tooth can break for several reasons. If you have a cavity in the tooth, the tooth can fracture. Sometimes a cavity can be filled with restoration (a filling), but other times it may need to have a crown in order to protect the tooth from breaking more. If your tooth breaks you should come in and see one of our qualified dentists.

  • What if I have bad breath?

    There can be many causes of bad breath. Bad breath is often the result of gum disease, but various types of food and drink can cause bad breath as well. If you still have bad breath even after thorough brushing and flossing you should see a dentist.

  • Do I need my wisdom teeth out?

    Not everyone needs their wisdom teeth out, but many people do need them taken out for multiple reasons. Often times, there is not enough space for the wisdom teeth and as a result they can cause infections and problems with other teeth. Everyone should have their wisdom teeth evaluated before the age of 18.

  • How often do I need to see a dentist?

    You should see a dentist on an annual basis for check-ups and cleanings. If you have any of the following symptoms you should see a dentist: toothache, brown spots on teeth, chipped or broken teeth, swollen or bleeding gums, or missing teeth.

  • What happens if my teeth are sensitive?

    Teeth can be sensitive for several reasons. Cavities can cause sensitivity, but there are other things that can also cause tooth sensitivity. It is best to visit with a dentist so your sensitivity can be addressed.

  • What should I do if I have loose teeth?

    Loose teeth are associated with periodontal disease. If you have loose teeth you should see a dentist to address this complex issue. Periodontal disease is a very serious disorder that can affect your overall health and well being. People who have diabetes and heart disease should pay particular attention to this disease when receiving treatment.
